The ONE Change Inc

The O.N.E. Change Inc. was established in 2004 to serve the residents of the Old North End neighbourhood. ONE Change is a grassroots organization and service provider that addresses issues such as crime, poverty, unemployment, poor health and lack of education. The ONE Change operates the C.E. Nick Nicolle Community Centre. The Centre has become a hub for residents to access programs and services to improve their quality of life. Nutritious meal offerings and recreational programs not only nourish residents, but also provide opportunities to access other services offered at the centre. From early childhood learning to GED and workplace training, the ONE Change delivers programs to assist all ages to achieve education and employment goals. In addition to the daily operation of the Centre, ONE Change plays a vital role in the revitalization of the Old North End. The association acts as the caretaker of the neighbourhood, hosting community clean ups and events to engage residents to care for, serve, and celebrate their community.
